... Link was having a walk in a peaceful Hyrule Field, with the same friend who, ten years earlier, had woken him up from his prophetic nightmare.
That's what I think that happens. Link does find Navi, and occasionally returns to Hyrule to appreciate the peace that he brought back after sealing Ganondorf. I wanted to draw something, since it's been so much since I last uploaded something here, so I took the chance. I also wanted to do something related to OoT's tenth anniversary. I am sooo thankful to all the staff who made this great game. Not only did I enjoy it so much to the point it made me play the rest of the Zelda games and fall in love with them, it also helped me to make myself better at one of my favorite hobbies: drawing. It's a beautiful interpretation of Link.
Your theory borderlines with mine. I also believe some how he gets back to Hyrule and finds Navi. Though, I believe something happens in the end that leaves Link either cold hearted and metaphorically dead, or something left behind by Ganondorf literally kills him.
